Just some pics from my vacation to AZ with my wife and her sister, husband, and kid, also gave me a chance to use the ole Rebel XT...it hasn't seen much use since I got a Canon 5D.
All were taken with a Canon Rebel XT. Using the following lenses:
18-55mm EF-S
50mm EF
75-300mm EF

Have this in full resolution? I am a complete sucker for odd skies..I love the eerie that insanely natural look to it.

Here's an image I've scaled to fit on a monitor which is 1680 pixels wide. Let mw know if you need a different resolution. Also, note that it is cropped to 16x9 ratio which is how I prefer my background. Windows typically stretches the image to fit the screen...go into the background properties and select 'center' so it displays properly.

Unless you were going for that specific look, I'd say it's way overdone.

Kind of. The "halo" effect around your subject.

And AWDTerror, the clouds in your pictures look like paintings ...sick. I like the pic from inside the abandoned car.

Anyone got any ghost town pics? I've been in a ghost town mood lately and have been researching some around my area.

no i looked and looked while i was out there and couldn't find anything. i've been in the same mood, i've been wanting to use a ghost town backdrop for some car pictures.

I was hoping that this big cowboy action shooting event this weekend was going to have something similar to set the mood but no dice, not even one freakin tumble week.
