Any photographers in here?

I love how in this one you can see this beautiful Lamborghini, some Ferrari's in the background, even a Rolls Royce, but has anyone else spotted the cute little Miata hiding in the midst of all these giants? haha

First time with adjustment layers, unfortunately I didn't figure out how to lighten the bumper until after I uploaded.. I wanted a more contrasted moody background, but I'll rework it later.

It was a nice experiment but I don't think the uneven edge ads any interest at all. In fact it makes it look rather unfinished. If you don't need the resolution of a panning image then I would put the camera on the tripod. If you were more zoomed-in then it might make a different but since you're not...

This is a good idea but it won't work as you intend. Since the subject is a spinning flailing person instead of a car you'll get blurry body parts instead of a clean image of a person.

You can use a flash to freeze most of your subject. Even maybe 2nd curtain sync.

Too freakin cute! Here's one I have up for screening I took the other day. The snow really reflected the light back up into the plane and lit her up really nicely!

Nice pic, Flyin.

I haven't been around much lately because work (and COD4) has had me very busy. I also did some charity work with a local university. I raised money through the sale of portraits at a formal they held in support of the American Heart Association. The event was successful and I raised several hundred dollars that evening. This is one of my favorite pictures taken as a test shot as I was setting up my lights.

I used a Nikon SB-600 fired into a white umbrella positioned up and to the left of the camera. I used a single continuous light into the black background. My final lighting set-up added another continuous light on the background and one camera right below waist level for fill on the subject.

Is that B&W, or is my monitor just really off. It is my laptop, and I don't have it calibrated.

Also she looks really familiar. I swear I've seen her before. I'm local to the Seattle area as well.....(picks brain)

Yeah, it's not B&W...was taken in B&W, it's some filter on Photoshop that I felt had a better punch to it than the origional...This was at work and I didn't have many photos available...

I'm gonna force myself to relearn everything from the basics up, to get a better groundwork for my skills...I've mostly been lucky to get good shots..Some of my best are film, and from a few years ago..

Film FTW!!!! The best shots are always done with film.

Like this one..

How do you get those shots of inside aquariums??? Mine always suck...
shut the flash off and shot away, alot were blurry but like 3 or 4 came out nice so i photoshopped a lil bit and they look sick, that one is my desktop walpaper right now. the lightign in that aquarium was really good too. ive got some other of some other fish i need to look thru and adjust, i havent gotter around to it yet tho

I like your last 2. The crop in the first is no good. nice colors though. avoid the harsh sun next time. or maybe use a little bit of flash to fill in the shadows.
