Gonna have fun this weekend As it is raining at the moment, I sat a light stand in the garage aimed at the front of the wagon, and the had a seperate flash in the centre console, turned out better than I imagined

Nice Rolex shots. Are you going again this year?

Unfortunately not dude.. sorry for the late response, and I know that it's already going on, but no I'm not. We decided against it this year, to make sure we make it out next year to see the Rolex/ALMS merger.. I think that'll be a cooler show to make it too anyway .

If you're down there, I wish you, and anyone/everyone else down safe travels, and have a Grand (semi-pun) ol' time!

^ i like it more without the flash inside the cabin. car looks sick though!

got my sigma 10-20mm in the other day. gotta get some non rain/fog around here so i can go play with it more

They really should have made the midnight blue for mazdaspeeds too, that color is beautiful

You need to shoot at a deeper depth of field. You can see in the Black Mazda 3 that the headlight/bumper corner nearest you is in focus but it's starting to blur out once you hit the Mazda emblem on the grill and the rear passenger door. Shoot at least F8, put the camera on tripod and increase the flash power. Keeping your iso at about 100-400. That would be a good base.
