I was woken up this morning by my parents, who were excited because Santa was riding in a hot air balloon over our house! By the time I woke up, he had moved pretty far away. But you can tell by his red in the picture it was Santa--otherwise sorry for the kinda crappy pic--I ran onto a snow covered deck barefoot to get this!

My laptop finally died on me after 6+ (can't remember exactly) years of use. Won't even boot. Bummer. Thank god all my photos were on my external drive!!

Time for a new one! Recommendations on a new set up? Want to spend <$700. The lower the BETTER!! Does not have to be a laptop. Actually, I think I would prefer a desktop...

Also, my copy of CS4 extended was on the HD of my laptop...anyone know where I could...acquire a new copy? PM me pleasee!!!

Well I've been rocking the same monitor, wireless keyboard, and hard drives for the last 3 desktops. All I have to do every couple years is get a tower

Put one together on newegg, you'll find somethiing cheap

I decided to try my laptop one more time and it worked!

I'm still going to get a new computer though, this has to be a fluke.

Need serious tech help here!

Is there any way to move my copy of CS4 on the laptop's HD over to the portable HD for use in the new machine???

On a mac, absolutely, but Windows doesn't really allow stuff like that. If you don't have the installer package, you can't really transfer a program from one PC to another. I'm guessing someone with a deep enough PC knowledge could do it, but it would be far easier to pursue other options, if you know what I mean.

I heard that YOU COULDn't GET into the PHOTO SHOP because of a TORRENTial DOWNpour LOADing the store with water

;)

And to lara....western or english?
