Tried having the engine runing and driving the car w/ the rig. Doesn't work so well on a cobblestone street but oh well. The jagged light trails are kinda neat

Ya..it's a pretty boutique part of town. Givin that old school feel etc. I'll post more pics later and you guys will get an idea of what the feel of the setting was like.

First time posting-I've spent hours reading this thread. All comments and criticisms welcome, but please keep in mind my DSLR setup:

Circular Polarizer

Pretty much only $600 invested-no lighting or anything. Enjoy!

watch your framing on the second one. Make sure you don't clip parts of your subject.

I debated back and forth about cropping that light out...In the end I thought it added to the 'feel,' but I know cropping it would be less distracting.

The 2nd picture I wasn't hanging out the window far enough, you know what I mean!? My car's window got caught in the pic so I was forced to crop it like that...Oh well...

You want to see way overdone HDR, I've got one! This was my first attempt at HDR. Oddly enough, the people at The Photo Forum liked this one better than my second attempt...

I just thought it looked too contrast-ey. The greens are way too vivid in my eyes.

Here is my second attempt. I have since edited out the power poles and lines in the sky, but I don't have that one on my photobucket...
