Any photographers in here?

Went to the zoo today for a quick visit. Used the 70-200 for the shot.

Funky, if you could clean up that 100% crop shot and get the bars in the reflection of the eye to pop, you'd have a pretty striking shot there!

Ya I'll try that. I just wanted to show how sharp an unedited photo is from that 200mm lens LOL

Any ideas as to how I can clean that thing up? I tried some saturation and curves...but the bars make the pupil disappear.

Here's my contribution from the last few days. We got about 30" of snow Friday and Saturday and once it was cleared, I started snapping away. Of note is that I feel my photography is definitely getting better. Many of these shots are straight from the camera with the only post processing being a resize and maybe an unsharp mask or two and are worth seeing in full-size (or at least 1024x768). Most of my exposures were spot on otherwise.

Comments and critiques are welcome as always:

I like your 2nd shot and the 2 tree pictures. It's pretty bright out hey? Damn 30" of snow is a lot!

My histogram and light meter were going nuts because of all the light. I was able to bump it down to f/10 to keep the shots below 1/1000 sec, but made things really crisp at the same time.

ISO 3200 no noise reduction. Straight out of the camera. :)
It's a bit shaky because it was indoors and almost in complete darkness. My hands weren't as steady as they could even if I held my breath.
