I was wondering if anyone is running the reworked stock turbo from PG and if so how much potential power gains does it have. Also is a gt28r a better option? I want to get a new mustang gt but I just love the AWD specially in winter. What power can I expect out of the reworked or gt28 with top mount intercooler and 3 inch down pipe and accesport and exhaust. I don't want to pour thousands on it since I might sell it in 2 years or so if I end up modding it.

270-290whp, if you get a new cdfp and a tuner of some sorts 300-320whp should be no problem

well its cam driven... so cam driven fuel pump which is for high pressure lol. atleast i call it a cdfp.

cdfp.
And it's not about the top power with a reworked turbo (at least not only about top power), but about the steady boost all the way through 7k rpm or whatever you want it at. No dropoff, no crazy heat, none of that sh*t. Efficiency is the key here.
If you want More power, for with 3076 or higher. :P

Yes its cam driven but its still a High pressure fuel pump.

Come on semantics here

Lol, that's just their name for it. Fail lol.

But seriously, with such a small turbo and such under built rods, I wouldn't run such a small turbo. If anything, just because it is not cheap already... I would go gt35 or something similar from precision or turbonetics. Nobody really needs to be in boost before 4k rpm anyhow. Ask any supra owner lol.

Well yea its a lot less stress if you go larger turbo run lower boost and make the same or more power.. Never good to push a turbo beyond its limits just blowing hot air.. I would love a GT35 but the thing is It makes alot of power up top and our motors dont rev like alot of other motors do.. I mean whats the limit of our Valvetrains rpm stock

I'm thinking our motor could do 8k but the cdfp/hpfp would float over the lobes. This after a proper build and balancing of necessary parts.
