I would totally powder coat my rims black if I hadnt scuffed them up so bad in the past. They look great color matched.

i think it was well worth it. cost me $450 total.. $150 for the media blasting and $300 for the powercoating..but the turnout was definatly WELL WORTH IT..

also, i had some scuff marks on it also, but after the blasting and many coats of the powder, it completely covered them all up...

I was a quality engineer at a powder coating shop for 2 years and powder coated my 16" Konig's black and they came out really nice.

But just for guys who don't know much about powder coating;
-You don't HAVE to sand/media blast them before getting powder coated, they will look better but it's not necessary. If they are already finished, the powder will still stick and look fine, they will just need more attention from the painter not too add to much powder or they will look spotty.
-You will need to remove your tires and valve stems, the wheels will get cured in an oven at about 500 degrees for 45 minutes.
-Powder coating is only one "coat". You can add more coats but the finish gets more and more spotty.

I wish I still worked there, we only charged $100 for 4 wheels and had tons of special colors.

But that balck on black looks super nice! Especially with the P5 bumper and intercooler peeking out.
