I'm sure there are some golfers on here. I got to play today for the first time all winter. The coarse was awesome the weather was in the 50's and the other guys I played with made an interseting group. My buddy is a player for the St Louis Rams, another friend was a kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, and the other guy (I didn't know before today) was on the 56th floor of the WTC when it was hit. That and some scramble golf made for an intersting afternoon. So who else golfs?

I love golfing...after our basketball league is over. It's time hit the links!!! What's great about Vegas is that you can golf just about 365 days a year!

Well you just suck. I would love to play all year round but I was there this summer and you can't play in 117 degrees! I'm the same way...our basketball season ends this friday so it's back to the weights and golf.

Ha...If you love golf like I do, you play in the 117 degree weather and enjoy it. Besides, golf rates are way cheaper in the summer time. It's easy to find rates around $25 per round plus a cart!

I started hitting balls at the driving range when I was about 4, kept going for about 5 or 6 years and just kind of stopped. I golfed a little bit when I lived in Florida. Not really my thing anymore, it's fun though.

Dude I could barely swim in 117 degree weather out there. Here in STL LastMinuteGolfer.com posts some pretty sweet rates all year round. BTW i just got the new Callaway X-16 pro series Irons and they are sweet.

You can golf 365 days a year in hawaii too! :D If you guys ever come to hawaii to golf let me know if you need a playing partner!

Our new nieghborhood will be a Double Diamond Golf Resort www.ddresorts.com I don't know how to play but since it will have two 7100 yard courses I think I will learn. My Dad is just beside himself since he loves Golf and will be on the permanent guest list. He bought me a set of 1990 Ping Sqaure Grooves and he goes on and on about how good they are.
Double Diamond gave me a whole set of knock off clubs with a bag and Graphite shaft/titanium head drivers that I will give to my wife. We just walk the course right now there are only two people living there so when it warms up I can learn on the course for free and not have anyone around to laugh at me :)
It will have a 30,000 sq ft club house with a killer swimmgin facility and two dinning areas. And a 250 yard wide 350 yard long driving range. One of the holes will tee off of a cliff above some caves and go down in to a narrow creek valley.
I can't wait to get our house sold and the new one built!

L8ter...

I'm contemplating using part of my tax refund for some new sticks. Decisions, decisions.
Do it!!! There are some really good deals out there on just about any club you want. I think the X-14's are going for $400 new now...good deal.

Guess you could call me a golfer but in my current state I'm more of a hack. Low to mid 90's shooter.

Totally addicted to it though. Great fun and escape for me

That's what it's all about.

My dad is an avid golfer and thats pretty much the extent of his life right now. He has a membership to a new golf course around here in south jersey. His best friend is a doctor and had the privledge of playing the number 2 course in america last year. PINE VALLEY(boom04) . You golfers know that course. Damn place has its own police force.

I just started this past year- I'm actually flip flopping a bit- I am loving snowboarding season, but I want to get out and play some more rounds for sure

I gotta play more this year; it will be my third year out and I'm still shooting 120's. But...my short game and putting are coming around, plus it helps if you play more than three times a year.

I'm hoping to join a weekly golf league this year so I can play all summer. My weekends will be devoted to my first love -- mountian-biking! Unless, of course, my father-in-law wants to go for a round.
