I just started smelling anti-freeze a few days ago when I turn my vent on, with A/c and without..Any ideas? I also checked under hood and everything was fine.

Just wondered if this is normal?:p

Nope, no antifreeze smell here, and I don't even have my overflow bottle connected at the moment (long story...). One question though, does you windsheild seem to get unusally foggy if you leave the windows up and the recirc/fresh air mode button in the fresh air postion??

Some anti freeze may have spilled over, from your overfill tank, make sur eto check it see where the level is at. Also look at the ground to see any leeks. It will be green in color. Keep an eye out on your temp guage as well just in case.

I do... especially when it rains, mine gets' foggy on the outside. a littel bar of dew build up there.

Yeah the outside is normal, i asked about the inside because usually thats an indication of a leaky heater coil.

I smell windshield washer fluid when I spray the window. Not when I'm sitting still, but when I am on the highway. Try and figure that one out. I am stumped!

Dude, I swear! I am telling you the truth. It's weird isn't it. I use the rain x stuff and I smell it everytime I use it. I wonder if the smell is coming throught the vents?

Yeah it could be, check your primary hoses that go to the nozzles. with the hood closed they sit right on top of the air vent/water drain. either that or posibly blowing back in from the side window...i know with my windows down and 70+ mph it'll roll off the A pillar a little and i can smell it then, thats about it though

Your air intake for your vents are right below your wippers so i can see that you can smell it when your spray your windshield.... iI woudl jsut slap on the recirculating button on so the outside air don't come in.... and either roll down your windows or put the A/C on....
