Any changes to the auto transmission between 2.0L and new 2.5?

Just curious if anyone knows if the larger engine required any change to the internals of the auto transmission? I have a 2013 2.0L engine and I do tow a trailer somewhat frequently. While I don't mind having the engine work hard, I question how the longevity of the transmission will be. If I knew that the higher output engine was able to use the same transmission, it would go a long way to make me feel more comfortable about the robustness of the AT. So far, everything has been flawless as far as drivetrain goes.

Also curious if the 2.2D uses the same transmission or not? I assume the gearing is different.
