another question.. does your resin stink like poo? the one used for my CF hood does lol and I CANT GET RID OF IT

my guess is the polyester resin might have that "undesirable" odor....I have not noticed this with the epoxy resins we use

Different design front lip, invader style cf hood, radiator support cover, and oh yeah, feel free to use my car as model, hehe. Where's your shop located in Atl?
Damn Chollie you beat me to it. I wanted my car to be the model if he needed it. Well if you need a model for just a sedan I'm your man.

I would like to see color carbon fiber interior peices and actual body kits/ I have a buddy with a beamer with a carbon fiber kit that is cool as s***

Yeah, I was thinking the carbon/colored kevlar weave would be real cool for the interior and under hood pieces. Body pieces.......depends on how colors blend/match/accent each other.

Well, it could happen, it will just be a matter of what people are willing to pay. We can make nearly anything out of carbon. Even "billet" carbon fiber that we can lay up into blocks and CNC machine!
I will spend some time at the local Mazda salvage yard and see if we can come up with cost estimates on interior pieces that I might post.

I would pay a lot for actual CF trim pieces... maybe $500-$1000 for a complete CF kit.

one of those small trunk lip spoilers would be aewsome. i see them on bmws and is300s and they look oh so fresh so clean

the pros have a nice little lip from stock. it'd have to be on the top side as well as the side part to actually move smoothly with the lines of the trunk. i think if someone utilized it and manipulated the shape a little like the is300's and similar styled lip wings it'd be pretty dope.

carbon fiber upper grill insert for 3rd gen sedans.
make a carbon fiber replica of the mazda oem lip for the sedans also

true... i would buy one like that

The CF Trunk with CF wing sounds nice.

I'd like to see a CF glove box? perhaps CF middle console lid? That might be cool, yea?

not sure what market to get into....seems the general import guys are more interested in the carbon "look" than they are interested in high quality, lightweight, 100% carbon pieces. We can't compete price wise with what is mostly available now. Our hoods are in the $1,200-$1,500 range but are 100% carbon and weigh less than 10 lbs!!!!

If that's the case, then you need to find a Bimmer board to go to...Keep in mind, we own economy cars:)
