Another "Will these fit?" questions...

I have absolutely no idea - but if I don't like them, I can easily craigslist them for more than the ebay price locally -
 
auction ended now so it's moot (for this set at least) but i think they would have looked sick on an MS3, especially on a darker color like metro grey or black.

might have to hunt down a set of them when i get some extra cash together.

Yeah - I bought em. I'll definitely post pics after mounting and let you know of issues, if any. My MS3 is blue - but I'm still hoping they'll look nice. They come in Friday - but my car will be in the stereo install shop then - so I might have to wait a week or two before I get install money.
 
going to be tight, +40mm is not a good offset to go with, but if you stick with 225/40-18 you should be straight

Cool. Thanks for the advice.

So the OEM tires may be too tight? (aren't they 215/45R18?) Too lazy to go outside and check. It would suck if I have to get new rubber for these wheels before being able to use them.

if you are running 18x8, OEM tires are not suggested. You can run it, but you will be stretching alot. 215/45 are made for a 7" rim, generally you can go 1" either way and still be straight. anything more than 8" rim or any smaller tire, you are going to be in a hole till you can replace them.

Crap! You mean I just can't run with that setup at all until I get the correct size tire?

EDIT - I'm an idiot - you just said I could run on them - but I'd be stretching a lot. Running on them for a week or so probably won't do much damage?

I thought I'd read a few posts here where people are running +40 offset and are not rubbing, nor have clearance issues. God, I hate to be ignorant! Too late to cancel the order. I'll check clearance before mounting to make sure they clear the calipers.
 
Update - the rims are mounted - pics will be up as soon as the camera batteries charge. Hope to post by this evening. So far, so good. No rubbing, no strange feelings or noises. They feel "lighter". I think they look good - and I haven't seen any MS3 with them as yet - at least anywhere I've looked online.
