(bang) After loaning my MSP to my parents during there car problems. My car was in an accident. My sister was driving and a drunk driver wrecked his black truck on a unlite bridge. Where it was left blocking all lanes of traffic. Damage was to the driver side fender, door, front bumper hood, Driver side wheel was cracked and both passenger side wheels where severely curbed on the side of the bridge. Insurance is being a real pain. Now my sister may have played a part in totalling 2 MSPs ( one yellow and titanium). Now to her credit neither accident was her fault.

The insurance company is tryin to screw us. It's trying to go give us 5k less than they did for my sisters MSP last year.... But For some reason the salvage value hasn't changed.

your fault for willingly lending your car to a person who already has totaled the same car before...i mean, didn't you see that coming?

all insurance companies try to pay as little as possible as to not lose much money.....just keep fighting and don't be surprised if after they pay the car they cancel your insurance, they love doing that.

good luck getting it repaired or paid off if it is really totaled, which from what you say, it shouldn;t be...

In all actuallity the first accident wasn't her fault in the least. I mean if you're stuck in traffic and not moving when you get hit it really shouldn't be held against you.

I don't know. It really depends on what happens with the insurance. There are a few other options I'm considering, I usually don't like to buy used cars unless I'm expecting to do serious work to it, but it may make me hurry and do some serious work to my 240's....

agreed, should have learned your lesson about lending the car out. But if she wasn;t at fault you aren't dealing with YOUR insurance company are you? then there would be no fear of being cancelled. Sounds like its the driver's fault who left his truck there.

Yeah it's was a bit of bad luck. But she wasn't at fault in either accident. Both time the other people insurance paid out. They are giving me just over 12k for it and I owe close to 10. Not sure what I'm gonna do now though. I don't think lending my sister a car is gonna happen again. Plus she just hydrolocked my mothers car.

I know. So now my dad is giving her his car, (94 sentra) and he's gonna drive his truck. It needs serious work to stay on the road. Then I'm gonna give him my auto 90 240sx (once i get it running). I'll probably get the truck once I get it running right.
