Another Sirius Question

OK, now that Sirius is available in Canada I am thinking of getting an antena to hook up to my MSP stock MP919 Head Unit.

Does anyone know what the model number is for the Sirius antena? I'm thinking that buying off e-bay would be the cheapest way to get the equipment.

you still need a tuner that plugs into the back of your headunit.

Just like tvs that are HD Ready, still need an HD capable tuner box to go with it. Antennas have no where to plug into the back of the radio, only plugs into the tuner box. By your radio saying it's sirius ready, means it has a connection available for a tuner and will understand it and know what to display and that the controls on your radio will control the tuner. Tuner is about $100 american, might be cheaper now though.

I just sent this message to Sirius Canada.. hoping for a positive response.

"I own a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege and with delivery of the car a Free Sirius Tuner and Antenna were to be included with the car. The only catch was to sign up for a 1 year subscription and the equipment would be free. Because I live in Canada Sirius Radio was not able to comply with the offer but indicated that they were working on a deal to get Sirius into Canada at which time I would be eligable. Well that was over a year ago and now with Sirius in Canada I am wondering how I should go about receiving my Free equipment?
Could you please provide some information on where or to whom I should seek at this time.

I may be mistaken, but I believe the offer was only valid to people who bought the car brand new. And that was 3 years ago.
