Here's a non-ricer photo for ya, oh wait with all the s*** I had on my car it was rice anyways. I'm still pretty damn sore and pissed about this whole thing and thought it wouldn't happen to me. If I wasn't paying attention that morning I would have definetly t-boned him in his P.S. door at about 60mph. This was my daily driven car to go to work in and my family doesn't get to ride in it that much. Still not gonna get a minivan and I think she understands why.

ssmp5...I'm so feeling your pain. if i hadnit been paying attention i'd have t-boned this jackass in his passenger door instead of the rear 1/4 panel and his son would have been hurt real bad because i was doin at least 35mph and accelerating. so now i have to pay for anothers mistake...story of my life.

I have seen pics of your car before and thought about asking this question. Why did you still have that 19 inch fishing rod on the top of your car? I always thought your car was sick, except for that small thing. Sorry for the wreck man.

It's up to you, but what I and other's did to shorten the antenna is snap it in half 
All you will lose is AM reception, won't lose any FM. You just unscrew the antenna, and where it's flexible at the bottom, the fatter part, you just bend that until you hear a snap. Than you pull on it and the skinny long part of the antenna should come out of the fatter base. Than you just screw the base back on.
Could be a temporary thing until you shave it off completely since this costs no money.

I've got a short antenna (the car had it when I got 'er) that says mazdaspeed on it...it's only like 5-6" long, and LOOKS stock, but when compared to the actual stock 1 looks awesome. I dunno what MS car has it (the MSP maybe?), but yeah, just an idea, cuz apparently they're interchangable and you won't have to break the old 1 lol.
