Another One Bites the Dust! - Motor Mount Failure! = Oh NOES!

I'll scan the repair order tonight. It has different parts. The newer Speeds have this already onboard. Because this car was one of the first sold (November-December), it didn't have this "upgrade"

He used Mazda's repair, not his own. could you imagine the liability on him if it broke again?

cars that were MADE in Nov-Dec or cars that were SOLD in Nov-Dec but made earlier?

Mine was made 12/06 and I'm wondering if it's new enough not to worry about this.

Its not easy to check and I had mine at the dealer today for the sway bar nut and asked to check the motor mounts as well. They have to remove the battery compartment ect so he said basically what we already know about what signs of vibration to look for indicating a problem.

I looked my car over the best I know how while it was on the lift and all looks good now. He had no info on the Mazda complaint web site about the motor mounts so he said there must not be enough incidents to make it to "TSB", what ever that means.

bro...I would immediately go get it checked. It isn't worth it to be wrong.

fourthmeal, have you scanned your service order? Thanks... My build date is 12/06

....

Please do put that scan up. I want ammo to get a local dealer to do this on my early build car b/f anything happens.

I'd like to know too because i just picked up mine too and my BUILD date is 11/06. So it would be good to know if we're talking about build date or not.

Sorry it took so long. Lots of stuff on my plate lately:
