Hi,

I just bought a 2006 mazda 3 I touring 4door,Titanium Gray..So, far I like it alot. Just have to get used to owning a new car. Get little paranoid bout it getting scratched or chiped, but I'm sure that will go away after awhile...
I had a question bout the AC buttons. Theres 3 buttons on bottom of panel, and middle one has selection of circulating thru whole car and other selection of air flow just blowing on driver. One has a yellowlight other select is green light, are those to be always on? Start car,the one is always on?
Guess I really need to break out manual and read some of it....

That's not quite right. The left hand button is A/C, the middle button toggles between fresh air/recirculate, the right hand button turns on the rear defroster. The only thing that toggles which vents air comes out of is the left hand dial. Either the yellow light, or the green light will always be on to indicate which mode you're in.

Incidentally any position from full floor (12 o'clock position) and to the right will turn on the A/C. The A/C light doesn't turn on when it's in these positions, unless you turn it on manually.

Both my Mazdas (a 5 and my 3) came with nice tab-delimited quickstart guides 9created by Mazda). The one that came with the 5 was hanging by a string from the shifter. It contained the majority of basic features including how to use the climate control and turn signals.

I thought it was a nice touch.
