Another new addition!

If you could stand it, there would be a slight margin of performance to be gained by running your heat.

Not enough of one for you to notice. Trust me I know. When I ran the SE-R on track days I'd run the heat to help keep it from overheating as the SE-Rs are prone to do due to cavitation of the POS stamped water pump impeller at high rpms (7750 redline)

How did you like your Sentra? Do you think it could make a decent STS then SM candidate? Are they McStrut?]

Sorry Todd, you got threadjacked. But that seems to be the norm in the GA section anyway.

Let's just say there's a reason he autocrosses an Integra.

Yes, McStrut.

Too heavy for STS compared to the Civics and would require 2-3x as much development money.

Aftermarket support is very limited especially in the dampers area and most of the good stuff requires fabrication of one sort or another.

The SR20DE makes decent power and great torques. An ITA legal build will get you 160hp to the wheels (no pullies) So an ST* legal build could see more.

If the car gets moved to FSP as is proposed THAT will be the class to have one in.

In FSP the car would be very competitive (maybe even a winner), but expensive to build. You could potentially see 170whp and about 150-160tq on a *SP build motor. With either the 275/15s or the 255/13s it could be very interesting.

Back to the temp sensor.... Didn't this car have some wiring issues? The temp gauge would run off of resistance, so if there's a bad splice somewhere in the line, it could be causing issues. Just something else to check.

There doesn't appear to have been any splicing done to this wiring. I haven't seen any other issues related to wiring, just a questionable-but-functioning coolant temp sensor/fan switch and a random loose wire sitting in the engine bay. I've also got stereo wires hanging down under the dash on both the driver's and passenger sides.
