Another MSP lost to an accident...

Thanks. Yeah I have a little saved since I was planning on buying my unlces 93 Si for a winter beater. Now he is giving it to me since what happened. Hopefully in 6-8 months I can scrape up enough and find a nice Spicy Orange MSP again. I loved that thing, and now more than ever I am part of the Mazda camp for life...

Glad to see your ok after the wreck......if you can part that out at all and need some extra cash let me know.....

Your poor spicy! :( She took the brunt of the accident so you and your little bro would be okay...

I was bored so I sent Mazda an email saying how appreciative I was in how well they made that car. A day later I got this..

Hi Thomas!

Thank you for contacting Mazda North American Operations. I appreciate
the opportunity to respond to you.

I am glad to both of you and your brother was able to walk away alive
from the accident.

Mazda strives to build vehicles that are economical, reliable and
safe. It certainly sounds as though your Mazda has exceeded those
expectations!

We hope you'll be able to get behind the wheels of another Mazda in the
future. I hope you'll recover from all your injuries real quick.

Again, thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our
attention. I will be glad to share your story with our Product Planning
Department.

Have a great day!

I was suprised they got back to me at all. Glad to know the car company of my choice actually cares about the drivers that choose them.

Yep, very glad you are ok. Very sad to see another Spicy gone. I could have sworn these things have a trunk, but for some reason yours doesn't...
Damn, you guys are lucky. Good thing nobody was in the back seat either.

Damn man, that was a bad one. I am happy to hear that you and your brother are doing ok and healing. Good luck in the future and be safe.

Its nice to hear that you and your little bro walked away without any life threatening injuries.

Also glad to see those air bags really do work....

Many years ago my buddy rolled his RX-7 and we went to the impound yard and pulled some of the badging off the car... Maybe you would like to do the same on the MSP... sorta keep sake....

Wow. I have seen over 10 crashes in the last 3 weeks. 3 of those within minutes of happening. I have to say this. Way too many stupid people driving on the roads. I am glad you are alright and you should consider yourself very lucky that you didn't kill your brother. People who can't drive just irritate the s*** out of me and seeing it everyday bugs me. I saw a pick-up truck today passing a bus when they were stopped at a railroad crossing.

you dont have to stop for buses who are stoping at a r/r xing...

I thought that was against the law. No right turn in front of the bus, passing a car thru a train track? My bad then. Still irritates me evilmonkey. People are in a hurry to go nowhere. Slow down and enjoy the ride.

Yeah thanks asshole. Maybe you should read what actually happened before running your mouth. Sorry if I cant make the rain around here give me fair warning before it deluges the earth. Hydroplaning means crash no matter if your the best driver in the world.

So how bout you do me and the rest of the world a favor an go hang yourself...

And I have the front grille off the car as a keepsake. That and a few pieces of the wing picked off the side of the road. That accident was scary as s***. I hate mountain weather...so unpredictable.

I read enough s*** face and you should hang yourself dickhead for putting family in danger like that. Everyone is like I am glad you are alright, **** that man I think you are an idiot for driving recklessly after knowing that it had just finished raining and that the roads were wet. Driving 75 on turns. Very smart. I'll be damned if I ever put my sister or brother in danger like that. Doing the world a favor is by eliminating dumb s**** like yourself off of the road for people like me who want to make it home safe.

And then you want to go buy another mazda. Buy a honda and wreck that yourself this time.

yeah...gonna have to agree w/ sanblaster on this one...if it was wet you had no business doing 55-70 mph on a mountain rd...THATS how you avoid accidents involving hydroplanning...slow down...
