Another day, another ding

Found a DING in my passenger rear door...DAMMIT. I'm a little dissapointed with the quality of the metal of the mp3. If I punched it it would dent easily. It just feels weak. I mean, there's a ding in my door, but no scratch to go with it (luckily). But if it dents EASIER than it scratches....

umm sheet metal is sheet metal, plain and simple. it's not ABS plastic like you would find on a saturn. that style of plastic is the same stuff that makes up the bumper covers on our cars and is rather expensive and heavy. sorry about the dent, though. I have a few myself but I can't for the life of me figure out why they are all on the roof of my car.

No..."sheet metal" isn't "sheet metal". There's different grades and gauges. Even my old '96 Nissan Frontier had better body metal than the mp3. And my '85 grand marquis was a tank.

If you have dings on the roof of your car you might want to look at your parking area. Most of the stuff on the roof happens if you are parked under a tree that drops acorns. Try not to park under trees. They are bad.

I hate trees. You should see the TCU campus. If you park under a tree, your car will be covered in birdshit in under an hour. I hate it. There are so many birds. Sometimes I wish I had a flame thrower so I could torch them all.

AGH!!! And then people banging their doors on your car. Another thing that pisses me off. Just last night actually, MP3girly, myself and a few others were going to pick up the MP3 and go for a cruise and my brother's friend opens my car door and it bangs against my brick house. WHAT THE ****!??!?! I don't think there was too much damage but still, he should know better than do that. Some people have no respect.

was going down the road 2 days ago and saw a huge ass peice of asphalt and had to center it or hit the ditch or the oncoming car hit it and the pothole that it came out of and was scared to get out to see the damage ok yesterday i put the car on a lift at work to change the oil. sadly i was right with thinking i had damage after looking i found that my front crossmember tore up exsaust with holes and dents 3inch dent in the floorbord gas tank with several 2inch plus dents and the rear swaybar its dented and bent this sucks i called my insurance and they said its a 500dollar deductable and my insurance will go up upto 60%!!!!!!!! :mad:

Yeah, my idiot girlfriend did the same thing...rear door right into a brick wall. Luckily there was no visible damage.
