amsoil extended drain oil and filter.

I am considering using amsoil 0-30 and their oil filter in my 2010cx-7 w/2.3 turbo. They say it,s good for at least 15,000 miles or 1 year. What does this do to the warranty?
Amsoil advertises 35,000 or 1 year for non-turbo cars that get driven more miles per day than mine.
I,m interested in your opinion.

I am conservative and with a turbo, I would first try a UOA at 7,500 miles before extending the run. You can siphon the oil out through the dipstick hole to get a sample but, use clean, dry new tubing to get the sample.

make sure you check with your particular dealer first when going past the recommended intervals. if something happens and you show longer change intervals, I can pretty guarentee a voided warranty...
