But this project includes a lot of other things... I'd say between 25K-35K?

30k for the EVO VIII, 25K-35K for mods=65k max $$ for 900 awhp? That sounds like a hell of a deal for the final product.

Well don't quote me on the price there. The reason it cost so much in this case is mainly because it started off as being a "one off" project, but the results were so good, and the car became so popular that they developed a kit for the GT42R turbo. Almost everything on his car was fabricated for him, and later became part of the kit.

I have a feeling they could do the stroker, turbo kit, full 4' exhaust, AEM EMS, differential, and AMS built head- for around 20K. But this would not include tuning or labor.

I am not being sarcastic, but even with labor added in, 60 some thousand dollars for 900 awhp, damn... It makes it sound doable...

Since the main evo forum doesn't allow street racing threads or video's the creator of ALL the videos (KevPSR), the owner of the black evo and a bunch of other really good guys have started their own forum: www.evowned.com - the forum is now up and running!.

Right now we have a great group of video enthusiasts such as myself over there. If you liked the vids of the black evo when it only had 630WHP, please join the forum to view all future kill vidz with it's new 900AWHP setup. Lots of other cool vids with turbo's cobras, vipers etc- professionally done.
