When I'm ataching the amp to the floor of the car, what should I use to protect the holes from rusting?

I just used velcro but don't think it should rust.

you dont have to drill the amp to the actual floor of the car. use velcro, or drill the amp to a piece of wood and put it under the seat.

I'd like to get the most secure attachment to the vehicle as possible as F@*kers can't walk away with my stuff again.

whos gonna know its there? and if you go around tellin people what u got where theyll take it whether u weld it to the floor or just velcro

If you pull out your seat, slide a piece of wood underneath your carpet, and then mount your amp into the wood, They'll prettymuch need to cut out your carpet around the amp which around seat brackets, etc. is quite likely a half hour job. No less secure than drilling intot he floor whre you've got to be wary of what's on the other side of things as well.

I dunno, I just placed my one under my driver seat and hide all the wires, no bolts, no velcro, nothing and it stays there fine and no one ever see's it

screw it down. for theft pourposes and accident pourposes. screw it down to the floor and then just use caulking underneath the car to seal around the screw and hole. it may seem like its not moving but get in an accident it can pull out and now your power wire falls out and grounds out and blows your fuse and possibly puts a nice burn mark on your carpet or the amp itself.
