Am I stupid or what? The Nav audio and radio audio cannot be tied together!

On my 2016 GT I must be missing something very obvious.

I can't seem to figure out how to control the audio of the radio and the navigation separately.

If I use the audio button to turn up the Navigation, the radio plays louder. If I turn down the audio button, both the radio and the navigation get softer. If I use the "mute" button, both get muted.

Surely there must be a way to turn off the blasted radio, or mute it, while still being able to hear the Navigation??

Please tell me what I'm overlooking :0

You can change the nav volume independently when the nav is talking.
Or in the settings you can set the nav volume.

When the NAV speaks you can raise or lower the volume settings. It will only affect the NAV volume.

You have to wait until the navigation is speaking or making a noise, then if you use the regular volume knob it will change the navigation volume only while the navigation is speaking and for a few seconds after.

But let's say I have the volume turned way down, or event muted, because I don't want to hear the radio. And then I start NAV, should I be able to hear anything from NAV in that case?

If you have the nav volume turned to 0 the only way to get the volume back is through the settings menu.
If you need the nav volume to be louder than the radio you have to turn down the
radio volume, then when the nav speaks turn up the nav.
You can tun the radio all the way down and still have nav voice. I'm not sure if you mute it though.

You can stream bt music into a phonecall too
