Aluminium Intercooler Pipe Kit - DIY FMIC inside

soooooo.... about these intercooler kits (thats what the thread is about guys)?? anyone have any new pics..

Ken you are the man ! I recieved my new bracket (Looks gorgeous BTW), and the elbow today, It was sent to my old address LOL. Still havent gotten the 3 Tbolt claps though, but I in no hurry, youve done more than enough Ken.

technically all of the talk did involve the fmic and how the car was responding with them on. and to add to more pictures...notice the kink on the last picture. Hopefully the mail will have my elbow or I really need to take off the recirculation hose and move it around at the inlet side

Hey Ken, why is the driver's side coupler so long? It looks like you only need half of it to clear the radiator support. I think this is why it seems to be off center. Just asking.

keep the pics coming this is attractive piece. and hurry mine will be here tomorrow need pics to hold me over.

trust me, I tried turning it in every direction and where it is now is about the best I can get it. Every other place I've tried just makes it kink more. I talked to ken and he said I need to adjust it by the inlet pipe to make it work better

dangit. i use a samco superflex and greddy rs so this oughta be a fun time for me lol. did you notice any change in the bpv tone?

yeah i was able to rotate mine quite a bit but still had the kink to it not quite as bad as youres but i really didnt want to have to use the elbow but ended up using it anyways.... just some trimming of the stock hose and works like charm.

lol...yeah its the same noise but definitely amped up a few decimals. Much louder than before

I'm going to go buy a different recirculation hose and put it on so I can do whatever I want to the hose.lol

My greddy type s does sound the same and I was back firing like hell. I adjusted it some to stop it from back firing so much but my type s now sounds like a greddy rs. I will mess with it some more tomorrow I guess.

edit: On my way to work I noticed I am boost leaking somewhere. I really think its at the bov. I forgot to put the bov on before attaching the pipe on the car and tried putting it on after so the bolts might not be tight enough or my bov is terribly adjusted.

Install was alright, the sensor in the grill of the bumper had to be bent and I didn't like the whole idea of cutting the recirculating hose which looks tacky now. Not sure how many shims I should have in my forge now. I can feel the turbo lag, and my forge doesn't ping anymore. After a quick drive my pipes were pretty hot. I did feel some hp/tq power. The powder coated fmic was really nice, but the paint on the pipes weren't to par. Only one coat of paint? Looks good though, just waiting for my bracket since it didn't come with my first or second kit
