... i just can't persoanlly get over the hose clamp on top of the engine bay, but for the price i might have to hehe- :

dip stick does not hit the pipe, just sits beneath and off the side a bit. you can still check the oil without interference.

I agree, I'm gonna see how the red coupler looks with the polished pipes and may try black if it doesn't look right.

thanks to everyone so far. we're building a jig tonight for the intercooler cores for the "full kits" so we can get brackets on those as we put these together.
