Let me add to that, I hate rice.
rice includes
altezza's
chrome wheels(especially big ones)
shoulder pads on stock seat belts
huge wings and extravagant body kits
noen
strobes
airbags

Big loud ass exhausts that are all show and no go.
Stupid neon windshield wiper fluid dispenser.
Gaudy stickers/emblems/graphics.
Externally I really don't think a thing needs to be done to our cars...I'd change my muffler for a better performing one or one that would better complement a future turbo. I'd also potentially change my rims...but only if they were going to be lighter....I doubt I'd change my lights as it seems to be far too much for looks rather than the reasoning of giving off better lighting.
I'd say if I'm going to spend money on the car it had better be reaping me some benefits either in performance or handling...I guess I would get sport seats..they wouldn't truly fall in either category I suppose, but they would serve a purpose.
Having said all that, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone is entitled to do what they want...just don't expect all of us to necessarily like it. =)

Personally I think Altezza lights look slightly better than the whole light being the clear plastic crap. Particularly on Eclipses.
However, both lights still suck. Altezza lights belong on one car, the Altezza and no where else.
Hmmm...All this talk begs the question, I wonder if someone makes regular tail lights for the Altezza/IS 300?? Discuss.

actually there is a company that makes a cover for the altezza that makes it look like the tail lights are all red and the only lens that is shown is the red lens... i thought it looked pretty good....

i was actually thinking of getting that tailight paint and painting the clear part of the taillights red so my whole tailight would be red... i think that would look nice....but im not sure.... what do you guys think?
