yeah, i would PREFER not to have a custom alt built since it's rather expensive

but in reality, if i wanna crank the volume, that's exactly what i'm going to have to do

i know full well what power req. i need, like i said i've been doing this for a while

i just don't wanna spend the $$$$$ lol

well sorry man if i sounded like i was being an ass, i really wasnt trying to be, ive got a problem of my own now, though and i wanted some help no one has replied to me in the tuning forum, but have you installed an intake on your car, im pretty sure all 3rd gen is the same, i just need to know what exactly to do with the two things that are connected to the stock filter (wire) i know the one towards the front is the MAF sensor, but i have no clue what the other one towards the back of the engine block is.

aint done diddly with the car as yet

still full stock, kick panels and center channel pod in the works but that's about it so far

I never had any problems with whining in my set up... well over 2000 rms four twelves three amps one cap. , one gel cel batt., four six inch mb quarts mids, and four one inch mb quart highs. Ive been into this since 1990 also.

get a seperate car battery to run your system off of and it should take care of the problem. but sence your alt is actin up now you might want to replace it anyway because i had a a similar problem before and my car just died at a stop sign. not fun
