Alpine subs

sup guys, which of these subs u think are better, The Alpine SWR-1221D, or the Alpine SWS-1242D?

I would say the 1221 is "better" because it can go as low as 24hz vs 26hz for the 1241, but that's negligible.

Other than that, a quick google search shows that the subs are almost identical, except one is dual 4ohm and the other is dual 2 ohm, so just go with whatever works for the amp you have.

Depends on what you are using to power them, the dual 2 ohms will max the power output form a stereo amp that is bridged while the dual 4 ohms will max the output from a mono amp. Other differences are the fact that the Type-R subs are a better designed sub with more power handling than the Type-S.
