Almost embarrassed to ask but side mirror ?

:
2012 CX-9 Touring
Broke glass (or plastic) passengers side mirror so ordered a replacement. Popped off original no problem went to pop on new but cannot get two smaller balls that control movement to pop on? Figured I'd ask before putting more pressure on it but afraid going to crack new glass. Anyone run into this or know any tricks?

put a dab of grease on the contact points and then use a blow dryer to heat em up. should pop right in.

Greased them up first time but never thought about heat, interesting idea. Will give a try, the main problem I'm facing is the smaller points move so difficult to get good amount of pressure on it.

I had a chance to look at the factory service manual. It says to press in Pin A (center) first, the press in Pins B (outer) second. hope this helps.

Yes I read that before starting and was able to get pin A in easily, got one pin B in but still having issues getting pin B closest to passenger seat in? One would think is easy to swap??
