Alloys problems

I don't know if I'm they only one notice that... but I wash my car really often...

I notice the alloys are painted and the paint already start to took off :mad:

It's not normal....

and by the way what you don't like about your MP5???

I've wash mine at least 2 times a week and haven't noticed anything. I think there was a thread on what people don't like about their MP5's...
but I didn't post in it, so...
It could use more power.
(I've driven a C5 Corvette and felt that it needs more power as well)
I miss the heated mirrors and true intermittent wipers of my Ford Contour.
(That's about all I miss)
My driver's side floor mat needs to be fastened down, there's a hole in the mat but no way to fasten it down.
I wish all of the power window switches were illuminated.

I think that's it.

sjdmp5, did you get your mats at the dealer? as in buy them after wards? if they came from the factory in the car there is a little metal piece that attaches on the floor under the seat and had a little knob that sticks up at the end of it....that is what that hole in the mat is for...it hooks on that know and keeps it from sliding around....if you got the mats at the dealer...they snookered you, for you should have gotten that piece with them.

That's exactly what I need Sir Nuke. My mats are the factory carpeted ones that have protege embroidered in white on them. My contour had the grommet and hold down, that's why I found it odd that the protege5 didn't.
(or apparently just mine doesn't) In Canada floor mats come standard, so I didn't pay extra for them but I'm printing out your picture and taking it to my dealer. Thanks!

Well, i've had my P5 since August and I wash her twice a week. I wax her once a week and i see no problems on her finish or on the shoes she wears. In fact, shes probably has the prettiest shine/glow out of any red car i've seen besides the 360 Ferrari i saw. I have the ICW DU-8 17"s. They come with a alloy or white finish but i have the white finish. Maybe its just the wheels u have or the washing solution u use. Oh yeah, my driver side floor mat is somewhat annoying. Needs more HP but everyone knows that...Yeah, thats about it.
