Allen Wrench In My Tire

Ok so tonight i found a small screw in my left rear tire. Well I pulled the small screw out and it leaked air and then stopped and seems to be holding for now. The kicker is that on my way home I was still hearing tapping. I look at my right rear and I have an allen wrench in my tire!! It is sticking completely perpendicular to the tire and is kind of close to the sidewall. Has anyone ever heard of picking up an allen wrench? On the other hand if someone did this on purpose is it even feasible that someone could puncture a tire with one? Im not sure to think of this as a freak accident or an intentional act.

when I was working at the mazda dealer back in the day a tech found a 6 inch bolt in a tire.

Has anyone ever heard of picking up an allen wrench? On the other hand if someone did this on purpose is it even feasible that someone could puncture a tire with one? Im not sure to think of this as a freak accident or an intentional act.

It sounds pretty unlikely that an allen wrench would be sitting vertically on the road waiting for someone to drive over it. It would have to be wedged into a crack holding it standing straight up. On the other hand, someone might have wedged it against your tire so you picked it up when you started driving. Was it in a groove?

front or rear tire? if rear you front picked it up into the rear

i work on cars for a living and patching a tire is a common thing for me. i have found crazy things in tires. allen wrenches as mentioned along with chicken bones, scissor blades, scringes, dog teeth(atleast i hoped they were) and once a whole leatherman

wow I would think those would break before going into the tire.

Back when i worked as a lube tech at a tire place. A guy came in with a leaking tire on this ford windstar, come to find out he lost his spare key to the van and it was sticking out of his tire.

That was probley the weirdest thing i've seen in a tire.

wow really? one of my toyos was ruined about a week ago THE EXACT SAME WAY!!! only my allen wrench was inside the tire bouncing around

Thats not as un common as you think. When I was working for Chrysler, I found 2 bolts of about the same size crammed into two tires on a grand cherokee
