where would be a good place to get all weather floor mat for protege 5...
i called the dealer and they said they didn't make all weather floor mat for protege 5.
thanks

I got mine at a Pep Boys It has high ribs and an edge retainer so even melting snow and slush are not a problem. It's made of a decent grade of rubber and is not flimsy so it doesn't go anywhere. Plus, I drilled a hole in the bottom so it can hook over the tab on the floor (driver side). The one I got was intended to be custom cut to size. I just used the cloth mat as a template and it fits great. They had only one in the store when I got it, so if you don't see something you like, maybe try another store.

hmm i've been wondering too.. i guess my floormats are messed up now.. kind of... so additional information on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I bought a universal set for my old car at costco. They were like 17 bucks and fit pretty well, and would be perfect for the protege.

so what are those mats made out of? rubber? i don't know if i want to get some of the rubber ones because i don't think they look that nice.. lol. but then it does protect the interior... =\

i got mine at sears. Since my last car and now my p5, i dont see how i could ever go back to fabric. The all weather hold up to a pint of water, and it protects the car from snow, sleet, mud, and other crap on people shoes. The great thing is that they dont get funky as fabric can when its wet then dries with mildew, with these you just take them out and hose them off... most car washes will even wash them for you for another dollar or so.

as for looks, it blends right in.

astral uses then in the winter for his car......they work well. i think i will get some for next year. think you can get them at ant local car place/walmart/sears auto centers.

keep the salt and crap off your regular floor mats.
