ALL 2010 Mazda3 Stuff Goes Here

LOL! That is hilarious, looks like it is smiling!

I spoke to my salesguy who said the 2010's came in finally and he's actually got nothing but positive things to say about the car. Handling, braking, suspension is all better, power is better, and he said they also have spin-on oil filters!

don't always take what salesmen say as truth...
I asked one at a local dealer in houston if he knew about the Aircheck Texas program and he said yeah. Got it confused with LoJack. No way are the two related in any way whatsoever. That's why I said screw those morons we're going to another dealer.

I dunno man. The 2010 just doesn't balance looks and performance for me. Looks really take away from the car. I'm sure that others, just as myself, require a good balance of performance and looks when it comes to cars or anything in general.

Went to the dealer yesterday and saw some 2010 hatches . . . YUCK!! Well, I mean, I hate the smiley face, but the interior is really nice.

I thought that it might not look too bad in person, but yeah, it kinda does. I can get used to the interior but I cannot get used to being seen in a car with a goofy look to it. It kinda reminds me of when the Neon first came out and there were billboards with a picture from the front of it and a caption that simply read "Hi". The 2010 3 reminds me too much of something like that for me to be able to even begin to consider it . . . that plus I will never own another mazda . . . you can thank my dealer experience for that.

The on sale date appears to be Fall 2009(4th quarter). After the New York Auto Show next month, a more definitive date will be announced.

thx. I was thinking it would be ideal for it to release in time for the summer,, always fun driving a sporty car in the warm months. not always so much fun driving in the fall / winter (at least in new england). alas we will wait and see.

uhh did I miss something... That looks like a regular 3
where's the dual exhaust and the hood scoop?
engine pic has no intercooler unless they went front mount.
and it looks terrible IMO

It's a misprint.

It's a regular 3 hatch not MS3

there were some 2010 3s at a local dealer yesterday...i didn't think they'd be out yet and neither did the dealer. apparently they were supposed to be briefed on the 2010s this weekend but the cars got sent early

no gt's or hatches though...which is what i wanted to see. and the local mazdaspeed dealer has like 10 2009's on their lot

I think it is a speed 3. If you look at the last picture on the 5th row, i believe that is a side mount intercooler in there. look at all the piping! there is no way its all for the intake.

nevermind, it clearly says mazda 3 on the rear hatch. who knows, i could be wrong on either account!

What I did was keep a bit of the "smiley face" but made the grill much MUCH smaller. Imagine it with a nice black mesh in there, just a quick 5 min photoshop, nothing special.

Actually....that looks worse! It emphasizes the smile. The stock front bumper is so large that you can't help but ignore it but it has some form of function to it. I just wish it wasn't a semi-circle grooved grille in the front.

The "smile" on the GT trim looks better then the lower end trims it doesn't have the shiny metal it looks really good in person the inside is spot on my dealership only had tan or "dune" but the cloth and leather were both nice the GT was Red Mica and they had a black touring and a white touring (I don't know if they still call it touring) the GT had the turn signals on the mirrors the two lower ones didn't and the head lights on the GT are more clear... the lower end has more yellow (a-la turn signal) the rear window is so much smaller and the trunk is larger. I didn't test drive it though... I went test drive the Genisis Coupe down the road.

Nooo.... that photoshopped one is definitely an improvement. even if it's only a mild one. Mazda already had a hell of a front end design to work from in the rx-8 by implementing that look into the new MS3 and essentially keeping everything else be... I think we'd all be singing a different tune. shame they missed that opportunity. hopefully they'll pull a subaru and redo it year 2

Maybe

ya i know (crazy) I'll thread jack... planning on coming to any of the mazda meets in the NEPOC section? We got a spring clean/install meet coming up in April. There's only 2 MS3. One guy comes as far as fitchburg.

I got a lot of travelling in the next couple of months. If the stars line up...
