Hey guys,

Whaere is a good place to get an alignment around the area that works with lowered cars? Im fine right now but i should be on coils by mid october and wanna get it checked out and re aligned after i put my adjustable camber arms in..

Thanks in advanced

Gte is good I deal with them for my tires and my gf gets a lot of the tires for the shop thru them.

If you don't go crazy low (ie lukes car is about the absolute limit) I can do a full alignment here for $60 on weekdays between the hours of 5-6pm just pm me ahead of time to set something up.

America's best Automotive in Alpharetta, They are well known and do an awesome job!!! Work on lots of performance alignments too. I also can get you $10 dollars off!!!!

you might wanna stay shy of gte. Lately ive heard numerous complaints. Id tell you to bring it to me but im across town-lol

My neighbor went to get an alignment @ GTE on Friday, nothing but good news.
And I can vouch for Korey, his alignments are just as good as GTE.
That and I'd rather help out another mazda...err. DSM member.

ive been hearing a lot about what they can get in the door. Maybe they have slowed down. But I was hearing excessive wait times, and a buddy of mine said they wouldnt do a corner balance for him bc they didnt think it was necessary. I personally think theyre a little high on prices.

Lol thanks chris...still got a mazda in the driveway though so its not all turbo goodness.

I know gte stays quite busy especially during certain times of the year (nationals, ra scca races, auto-x season opening, ect). I really can't fault a place for being busy it probably means they do a really good job...the corner balance sounds like there might be more to the story.

I do agree they are a bit on the high side for pricing but you gotta turn a profit and pay your employees.

I would point you to my uncle's shop but they can't do extremely low cars which is what I assume you'll do. He usually charges around 65 IIRC but as said, I'm not gonna send you there and waste your time.

I've heard GTE is a good place though I've never actually been there to vouch.

As for the KB Alignment (that's the Korey B.) I'm sure it's good. Not only can he do alignments, that place assisted me with the removal and replacement of my bumper.

It was due to the race cars they had lined up. But imo when you have business like that and you want to run a sucessful business hire someone else to take care of your customer cars and keep your race guys on the race cars. Ya its another expense but it will pay off in the long run, rather than having to keep a car just to do four tires and an alignment. As far as profit im sure theyre machines are paid for-lol, maybe even the building to. But I cant argue with that much because yea there are plenty of others who will do it cheaper but it wont be right. So you pay for a peace of mind which is understandable. One of the reasons my car handles so well is the alignment setup so the extra peace of mind is worth it i suppose. Then again i do all my alignments myself so its free-lol

GTE is a small shop. They have 5 bays. 3 bays have lifts for doing tires and such. 1 bay does front end alignments, the last does 4 wheel alignments. There are 2 guys that do alignments, one of them is the owner. I think the cost of what they do is a good value, and sometimes you have to wait on it. Each alignment is a custom job. Some cars are easier to align. I know when I go there, they have me sit in the car since the added weight on one side affects the ride height thus affecting the alignment. They will go the extra mile to get that extra .1 of a degree.

I've talk to about 5 or 6 people who weren't satisfied with their experience with them. They did mention that they're usually pretty good but lately they have fallen off. I honestly have no persoanl experience I'm just going off what people have told me when they come here.
