Alignment needed after rear shock replacement?

Hey everyone,

Just got back from the dealer after having them (finally) fix my squeaky rear shock problem. They ended up replacing the rear shocks with new ones under warranty, but now I'm wondering if this is enough to make me need/want an alignment? Would replacing just the rear shocks be enough to send the geometry out of whack, or should I still be pretty close to what I started with (which was the factory alignment)?

Thanks!

No factory adjustment, so no you shouldn't need an alignment. I didn't need one, and we all know how low my car is

^ what he said. You'd be paying an alignment shop to give you the specs and then say there's no way to adjust it. And due to the susp setup in the rear, nothing really should have changed anyways.

Wow, there's no adjustability in the rear at all? I had a feeling that just swapping the shocks wouldn't have changed anything, but I didn't know that the rear is fixed at the factory.

Its a bummer, the only way to adjust the suspension is with a big hammer or a curb.
