Alarm?

I noticed that on the stock alarm systems that if your window is rolled down and you unlock it from the outside and open it that the alarm doesn't go off...iwas wondering if anyone know how much it would costs to get a remote start and also all the window going up and down on from the keyless entry

I don't know a ton about alarm systems, but I'd imagine that a $300 alarm system would meet your needs. 1st MP3 in NH would be the guy to ask for this one.

PS-your post was a little hard to follow...word and punctuate things a little better and you'll get more responses.

Eh, if your gonna spend the $300, you might as well spend the extra $100 and get a compustar or something along those lines. I pain $410 for mine (not installed) and it can do all the things mentioned.

Did you install it yourself?! I have been looking at these and was wondering if it can be done yourself...input please! Or price for installs.

Alarm

go to a place called Precision Sound, Chino Hills they will hook it up nice for a decent price..... HOWEVER the alarm will have to be changed because theres not enough relays on the stock keyless entry thing to have to power windows, remote start, and the alarm. But they do install remote starters on MT. Your not supposed to but they do. they bypass it.

I have a viper with remotestart great alarm the sompustar is also a great choice

I bought the Mazda 6 assesory sensor($40USD).....installed it and it sets the alarm off when you hit the car and unlock the doors from the inside while activated. w/o sensor the alarm does go off but doesn't Enoucate(SP?) that it did. putting the key in the door and turning it(Unlock) or key in ignition disables the alarm... only thing I had a problem with is sometimes the sensor is so sensitive that the chirp from double tapping transmitter sometimes sets it off ;)

Install was easy...3 wires need to be spliced and the instructions tell you where and how. I cheated and used the "cheater splice" so no worries of shaving too much wire.

Hey Da6 does that sensor give you the problem where your alarm goes off when a truck rolls by or there is a loud clap of thunder or something? If that's the case can you adjust the sensitivity of it? I was thinking of getting one.

Yes there is a sensitivity knob....only thing is I followed the instructions to a "T" instead of using common sense (doh) ...they had the sensor attached to the harness when it needs to be attached to a actual solid part of the car...to get better readings. you can also arm the car with the key in the door(Lock)...if the hazzards flash then it's armed regardless if you chirp it or not...you can chirp it to scare people off if you choose or not. also I dremeled the centers out of the foglight delete plates so the intake is louder and the 2 horns are louder too;) http://www.mazdastuff.com/product.cfm?ProductID=1416
