Alarm question

Hey everyone.

I will soon be the proud owner of a 3 hatch T or GT, I haven't decided yet.

I know that every mazda has the engine imoblizer, but the GT has the anti-theft.

I was wondering if the T has an alarm, and whats the difference?

Also should I go for a grey T or a black GT

Alarms are pretty much worthless.
An aftermarket alarm is going to be better than an oem one.
Both have immobilizers, which means the original key is needed to start it, the antitheft is just an alarm system.. Not anything that special.

If youre worried about getting your car stolen, get lojack or some other gps alarm system.
On my integra, I had a two way paging alarm, and my car was stolen. My alarm never paged me or anything like that. That goes to show you how valuable they are.

I know that an aftermarket alarm is better. My last car was a 99 civic si and I had a Viper 791xv. I had the car for two years and I have not had any problems.

yes I will be upgrading the alarm but not yet.
