Anyone interested in a transplant candidate or beater to strip for a race project? I have this '99 Protege LX that may be looking for a new home in the next 3-4 weeks. It cranks, runs, drives, and has cold A/C. The oil pressure drops after running 5-10 minutes & the little 1.6 engine starts knocking. The body is not perfect but complete. It is dirty, both in/out and needs a good cleaning. I may get around to dropping the pan and checking the strainer & oil pump(may have to replace the oil pump & bearings). As it is, I am thinking $1200, but open to offers. The price will increase as work is completed & I will post updates.
