Does anyone know what the airbag 22 code means. It used to do it every once in awhile. Now it does it all the time.
Any ideas on how I can fix the PW switch on the drivers door. I can roll down the front passenger window but can't roll it back up.
Also, has anyone had problems with both of there key fobs not working. I've replaced the batteries in both and now neither of them are working.

Thank you,

Shannon

Well,
in an RX8 the code 22 depends on what precedes it:

B1992 22
15 Driver-side side air bag module circuit short to power supply (See DTC B1992, B1993, B1994, B1995.)
B1993 Driver-side side air bag module circuit short to body ground
B1994 Driver-side side air bag module circuit resistance high
B1995 Driver-side side air bag module circuit resistance low

My guess is that your switch needs to be cleaned (if possible) or replaces. Ideally, you would check to make sure voltage is getting to the switch. If it is, the switch is the culprit. Sometimes the contacts can be abraded and cleaned but some switches are tough to disassemble without breaking something.

If neither OEM key fob is working, you may have a bad receiver in the car.
