Their number does seem high and the reason I ask was the size of the core is small. I believe that the number is accurate. I am interested to hear about your results. I went with a huge FMIC because I was worried about heastoak and pressure drop. I knew that I would be trading throttle response for it but I honestly don't think that the lost time in charging the volume is much diferent. Taking the compressor flowrate vs. the volume of the intake, if calculated works out to be 0.17 seconds from a dead idle for my setup, and as everyone knows... Again... Awesome idea, you are totally correct with your statement that it is a much more effecient design. It will hold constant temperatures much better than an FMIC.
