Air flow/rich fuel question.....

ok we all know that especially in higher rpm the ecu in ours cars runs pretty rich.

What my question is is with all the bolt on mods I will have installed by January1(CAI(injen style)Ractive header, Ractive Catback) does the extra air flow make up for the rich fuel mix at all or will the ecu make up for that and still run really rich?

it's the intake side of things that make the car run leaner...so head mods, cam, intake manifold, cai....

so the cai will help...but it still needs even more air

anything on the exhaust side won't help. an intake may help but only slightly. the ecu should still dump in the correct amount of fuel for the increased airflow.

cams and head work are probably the best bet for leaning out the engine the most staying NA
