How many sensors are there for the air filter in the MSP. Because I'm going to an auto shop today to get my K&N filter put on but the guy helping me said that he doesnt know how the sensors are going to fit in there...I know people have been drilling a hole for one of the sensors, but is there just one or two, the guy thought there were 2, i'm not sure though. How big are the sensors, is it just a wire? They look like they're bigger than the hole you're suppost to drill..

any suggestions?

thanks

Air filter

I read the thread on the installation of the filter but Im thinking I will have to see the actual filter when it arrives to understand the drilling part. I wish I was more mechanically inclined...

My friend: If I can do it,,,,, I'm sure you will be just fine. Look at my photos. Where you drill for the sensor, it is hard rubber. Check out that photo where I circled the drill hole.

Can you just stick in the sensor? Or does it have to clip on to something? My ractive cone filter is steel on the area where you drilled a hole, so i don't want to do throught he hassle to do the same.

Well I went to the auto hobby shop and installed the K&N filter...not too hard, my first car mod...and it seems like I did it fine. Sounds different when (but its suppost to isn't it?)and has a bit of an increase in power...

mine took awhile and i live in california...maybe its on backorder or something
