what he said... there is a weight sensor (of sorts) that will detect the presence of a small child vs. an adult and that is the only time i know of that your air bag light will come on.
the warning light on the dash. Apparently when I changed out the LED's in my dash etc I put the LED for the Passenger Airbag OFF by the lighter in the wrong way causing the entire circuit to die. Switched it around and its all G

Actually, that is one of the things I had my Speed3 in for a week ago. The airbag light on the dash was on and the big round one by the cigarette lighter wasnt doing its self test thing when i started the car. Turns out the had to replace the airbag controller, the light assembly, and the switch in the passenger seat.
On a side note, i just discovered my rear bumper is loose. What gives with this car? I have had more initial problems with it than just about any car I have ever owned. Its a damn good thing I like it so much.
