Aggressive fitment anyone?!

Okay, good. Ill check to see if there lose tomorrow. I was checking out some drift websites last night, and some people actually drill another hole to get a couple degree's. Is that generally as unsafe as it sounds? has anyone on here done it?
 
^How many degrees of neg camber you need? I guess if you're going 3-4 degrees neg. then do what you need to do....


On another note, I'm glad I've had camber bolts sitting around my room for the last 6 months, cause they are going on along with a fender roll on the rear tonight cause I can't take turns above like 15mph right now or else I cut ribbons off my tires. And thats after I already did a mild roll on Saturday... :(

Time for the mallet to come out, lol.
 
I don't see why it belongs in photos/videos...

Still belongs in a suspension/wheels/tires section.

because its asthetics that seem to be more imporatant than anything relative to the parts that make the car roll.
 
^It's all about wheels, tires & fitment. How does that not belong in the rims, tires, brakes & suspension area?
 
when you install spacers, do you need extended lug nuts? i am new to this whole "Agressive fitment" thing.
like if i wanted to have agressive fitment on my RH, what would i do...???

you don't need extended/open lug nuts unless you have extended studs and small spacers or no spacers. the RHs have a very conservative offset at +55, it would take at least a 10mm spacer to really make a difference. i'm running 6mm spacers with stock studs, but would not go much thicker than that with out extended studs. as far as how aggressive you could get with your setup... it depends on your tire size, ride height, and camber settings.

If you go with a 15mm spacer or larger you can buy spacers with new studs already in place. You use the old studs to attach the spacer to the hub, and the spacer has new lugs for your wheel to bolt to. Look back a 2-3 pages, I have pics posted of mine and someone else has pics posted with similar spacers mounted. If you search this forum for "wheel spacers" you will find a couple threads on the subject with additional help as well.

yup, this in an option if you really want to push the wheels out. just make sure the cavities in the back of the wheel in between the bolt holes will accommodate the difference between the length of the stock stud and the width of the spacer.

The RH's for MP3 have room for a lot of stud... Enough to fit a 15mm spacer. I just installed some with MP3 RH's over the weekend. I believe the RH's for the MSP have just as much room.
 
something aint right there. I couldn't even snag the stud with a lug nut and I only have 10mm spacers...

Well I was thinking of running 17x9 +30 but honestly, I don't think I wanna go through another headache. Might just go something less agg, 17x8 +30

We're talking the spacers with new studs built in. So the old studs just need to fit in the pockets on the back of the wheel.
