Ok, so I have 225/35R17 Yokohama S-drives sitting in my Living room, But I am having my doubts as to whether or not I want to mount 35 sidewall tires... I'm contemplating sending them back to Tirerack to exchange them for 225/45/17. I want 225/40/17 but no one makes them...
I just don't want to get them on the car and then think they look funny cause they are too skinny. Espeicaly since rears are 215/45 and will be until they need to be replaced (not until at least winter time). Damn it, maybe I should just say F it and go back to 215, since I could get a 215/40/17... (argh)
What do you guys think??
Obviously they'll fit fool, but that gives u a visual of how much shorter they'll be.
Dude, you need to replace those tires. You have 0 tread left, not safe.
Funny!!!
(evil)
20x8x13" hoosier bias ply cantilever slicks on 13x7" wheels
Actually the wheels themselves stick out some. Those tires are the product of wheel-width limited race classes; basically they are really wide tires (the next set will be 9.5" wide) designed to fit narrower wheels
^What size tires r u running?
funkalicious debuted his car today with 17x9's at about +25 offset... damn.
^^wait +25. I heard him say +30. Hot, none the less.
