looking at having a kicker l7 subwoofer and rockford power series 700 amp installed. fairly new stuff so I'm sure it will run efficiently. if I want to park the car (engine turned off) and just hang out with the stereo blasting, should I have any concerns about the battery being drained? do I need to have some sort of backup capacitator or something installed? thx for any advice

p.s. - what do you think about pairing kicker w/ rockford? best of both worlds or should I just stick w/ one manufacturer

thx

yes

car batteries are recharged by the alternator which operates while the engine is running.

since radios are electrical devices, operating them while the engine is off will drain the battery
