well we all know our horn sounds like something off a 5 year old girls bicycle with training wheels. i want some hella horns. any one have them installed on theirs? or any aftermarket ones?

Is it possible to just go to a car yard, buy a horn from one of the cars and replace it in your car? I did that to my old car and worked like a charm but i'm not sure on this car.

Just replaced the horn with the wires as well.

This one works great... I kept the original horn and used its "trigger" to trip a relay.

You have a few options. Hellas are pricy but loud. Used to have a set on my Subie and enjoyed them. But with the Speed3, I went with a low-tone horn to compliment our puny high-pitched one and it made a noticeable improvement - basically got it to a level that stock cars should come with. It's an easy job. $15 at your local Autozone or Pep Boys. Here's a thread with members trying different horns:

This is what I did with mine as well.

I originally picked up some of the SPider Tones which are Hella Super Tones Rip offs and they sounded like s***. So I went to Harbor Freight and got an Aooga horn for $10. Works perfectly, looks good and gets alot of laughs. It certainly attracts attention.
