im usually not into aftermarket hoods but i saw this hood today and its a nice simple design and MOST OF ALL ITS FUNCTIONAL!!!! i have a short ram intake becuase floods alot in houston and i saw this hood and was woundering if any of you have it and if so how much u guys pay for it?

naw its some pics i took over the coffe shop i work at over on milam and drew we got roof top parking. i wanted to do it at night but my camra sucks with nite pics. theres onother foor top parking garage in the heart of downtown thats real nice too but it cost money to get on it.

It does not drain directly onto the motor.

I have this hood on for almost a year now (not including the prototype), and there are no concerns with water. In fact, I still have my red kevlar version on right now in the middle of a Canadian winter!

In the pic below, I was at a show where it ended up pouring rain as you can see in the back ground.

It looks like it doesn't go anywhere but puddle on the hood. If it doesn't drain though the hood it just sits there.

The hood has fully functional vents. I said "It does not drain directly onto the engine".

lmao, I know this year it's been nice... so far. Last winter I drove around with a raw carbon hood (no clear) to see if/how long it would take to yellow, amazingly nothing happened to it, it was in the same shape 5 mths later!

first of all im putting up a quick post not some fucken essay thats drafted proofed and submitted for some fucken reveiw board.. what are you some little dickless dipshit that had nothing better to say??? and as far as the second question my 5year old neice could answer that one so im not gonna waste my time.

i12drivemyMP5, it doesnt take the water to the engine. the link i provided is the manufacturs website and it says something about it filtering out the water. most likely the sameway the stock airbox does. on my sig the backgound is real but the reflection is fake. come to my store some time and you will see the view. i think its called the transco tower.? but when its lite up it would make a really bad ass background in any picture.

I like the vis cf evo hood w/the inlets on the side. looks real aggressive. unfortunately, I know that vis doesn't have a good reputation for quality .
